Terms and conditions

The terms that apply to using this website and to membership of Persian Business Club.

Draft for legal review. These terms cover the practical rules the club already operates by. Can-Do Events Pty Ltd should have them reviewed, and confirm the membership fee and refund terms, before launch.

Who these terms are with

This website and Persian Business Club are operated by Can-Do Events Pty Ltd of Castle Hill, NSW 2154, Australia. Using this site means you accept these terms.

Membership is by application

Submitting a membership application does not create membership. Can-Do Events Pty Ltd reviews each application individually and may accept or decline it. Membership begins when the club confirms it in writing.

The non-political rule

Persian Business Club is a business network and is not affiliated with any political party, government or foreign entity. Members agree to keep political activity, party affiliation and foreign political causes out of the club’s events, communications and platforms. This is a condition of membership.

Member conduct

Members agree to represent their business accurately, to engage honestly in referrals and introductions, and to treat other members’ contact details and referrals as given in confidence for the purpose they were given. Member contact information obtained through the club must not be used for unsolicited bulk marketing.

Member discounts and referrals

Member-to-member discounts are offered by individual members, not by the club. Any business a member does with another member is between those parties. Can-Do Events Pty Ltd does not warrant the goods, services, advice or conduct of any member, and is not a party to transactions between members.

Events

Events are for members and invited guests. The club may change or cancel an event, and may decline entry. Photography and recording may take place at events for the club’s own promotional use; tell the organiser on the day if you do not want to be photographed.

Ending membership

You may end your membership at any time by writing to the club. The club may end a membership where a member breaches these terms, including the non-political rule or the conduct rules above.
